## Wopisanje
This is the official WordPress plugin of the CitatAI service, built and maintained
by its operator, PARTNER ADS DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY S.R.L. (Romania).
CitatAI (https://citatai.ro) checks how well AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini
and Claude can read and cite a business website, generates the files that are missing
and tracks every month whether the business appears in their answers.
This plugin is the delivery part for WordPress sites. After you connect it with
a short code from your CitatAI account, it publishes on your site the materials
generated there and keeps them up to date:
* **/llms.txt** — a Markdown summary of the business for AI agents, served at the
root of your domain. No file is written to disk; it is served from a copy stored
in the database.
* **Business identity (JSON-LD)** in `` — on „Automatic“ it is added only
if no SEO plugin (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO, SEOPress, The SEO Framework)
already prints a schema, so there is no duplicate. You can also choose „Always“
or „Never“.
* **Frequently asked questions** — visible text plus the matching FAQPage schema,
as an accordion (no JavaScript, inherits your theme’s font and colors) or as
plain text. Show them at the end of the front page with one checkbox, or anywhere
with the `[citatai_faq]` shortcode.
* **IndexNow verification file** — served at `/.txt`, so CitatAI can notify
Bing and the other IndexNow search engines when your site changes.
What the plugin does not do:
* it does not change your theme and puts no files in the WordPress installation;
* it sends no visitor data;
* it never asks for your WordPress password or hosting access.
If your CitatAI subscription stops, the files already published keep being served
unchanged, as long as the plugin is installed. A CitatAI account is required for
the plugin to have anything to publish.
The plugin interface is in English; translations are delivered through translate.
wordpress.org.
### External services
This plugin connects to the CitatAI service, at https://citatai.ro, operated by
PARTNER ADS DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY S.R.L. (Romania). Without it the plugin has
nothing to publish. It contacts the service only after you connect it with a code
from your CitatAI account.
What is sent, and when:
* **When you connect the plugin** (you paste the code and click „Connect“): the
connection code, your site address (home URL), the WordPress version, the PHP
version and the plugin version are sent to `https://citatai.ro/api/plugin/conectare`.
The service replies with a token for this site.
* **When the files are refreshed** — twice a day through WP-Cron, when you click„
Refresh files“, and when `/llms.txt` or the verification file is requested and
the stored copy is older than 12 hours: the plugin requests the generated files
from `https://citatai.ro/api/plugin/fisier`, sending the site token and your
site address. The address is sent so the token cannot be used from another site.
No data about your visitors, users, content or orders is sent.

## Instalacija
1. Install the plugin from Plugins Add New (search for „CitatAI“), or upload the
ZIP under Plugins Add New Upload Plugin, then activate it.
2. In your CitatAI account, at step 2 („Materials for AI assistants“), choose WordPress
and click „Generate connection code“.
3. In WordPress, open **CitatAI** from the left menu, paste the code and click **Connect**.
4. Optional: under Settings on the same screen, choose how the business identity is
added and where the frequently asked questions appear.
## FAQ
### Do I need a CitatAI account?
Yes. The plugin publishes the files generated in your CitatAI account; without an
account and a connection there is nothing to publish.
### Will it duplicate the schema from my SEO plugin?
Not on the default „Automatic“ setting: if Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO,
SEOPress or The SEO Framework is active, the business identity is not added. If
your theme prints its own business schema, choose „Never“.
### How do I show the frequently asked questions?
Either check „Show them at the end of the front page“ in the plugin settings (when
your front page is a static page), or add a Shortcode block with `[citatai_faq]`
on the page you want — for example a „Frequently asked questions“ page linked from
the menu. The questions and their FAQPage schema are printed together, once per
page.
### Is the content of a collapsed accordion still readable by AI assistants and search engines?
Yes. The answers are in the page HTML; the accordion only folds them visually.
### What happens if I disconnect the plugin or my subscription stops?
The files already published stay on your site, unchanged, as long as the plugin
is installed. Disconnecting revokes the token; the plugin simply stops receiving
updates.
### What happens on uninstall?
Everything the plugin stored is deleted, so `/llms.txt` is no longer served. Download
it from your CitatAI account first if you want to keep it as a regular file.
